About this Event

On View:

"A Fragmented Exodus" opens November 9 at 6:30 pm at Eaton House and closes December 10 at 5:00 pm.

About the Opening:

Artist Jesse Raine Littlebird (Laguna/Kewa Pueblos) will be in residence at Eaton House Nov 1-10.

On November 9, join us for a special opening of his show "A Fragmented Exodus" and a formal workshop on putting Decolonial Praxis in action through art, informed by his experiences as a contemporary Puebloan artist.

This is an opportunity for artists and non-artists alike to learn about the history of colonization and its effects on contemporary Puebloans, as well as the ways that he has used art to resist colonialism. RSVP for the opening here.

About the show:

Mass movements of people wandering the desert of the real. What happens when we finally step into the promised land?

Following not too far behind a fragmented exodus of masses seeking endlessly a place free of systemic degradation.

The journeyman (road man) gains through his travels and through sharing of knowledge.

Everything comes back to listening.
