ON THE ROAD TO SOULPLAY Speed Friending (East Bay)

This isn't your standard speed dating/friending so listen up! ?

• We put you in groups of 4 people
• We ask a question like "What's the most embarrassing thing you've done on a first date?"
• You chat and laugh about it for 6 minutes
• We scramble the groups and ask a new question

We love this format because it focuses on authentic connection and friendship and relieves the pressure of traditional speed dating!

All genders, sexualities, gender expressions, relationship styles, etc. are encouraged to attend. We welcome LGBTQ+, trans and non-binary, queer, BIPOC, kinky, and polyamorous folks of all kinds.

SoulPlay is an immersive experience filled with transformational workshops, celebration, dancing, connection, and play. It is an experience designed to facilitate learning and growth, while having a lot of fun and making great connections in the process. Whether this is your first time stepping into an experience like this or you’ve been walking the embodiment path for a while, SoulPlay meets you where you are.

7:15-8:30 - Facilitated Speed Friending/Dating

8:30 and on - Open Mingling

This event is co-hosted by JessJess. JessJess (she/her, poly and pan/bi) has been organizing and hosting a variety of events in the Bay Area for close to a decade. She has a strong belief in the power of connection, she thrives on fostering engagement, encouraging dialogue, and creating a welcoming inclusive atmosphere that brings people together. 

She runs Beyond the Rainbow Events which is a welcoming and enjoyable environment to socialize, play, connect, and explore. She is Bonobo Network’s Community Manager, a community rooted in real-world and virtual events where people learn together – and from one another – about sexuality, pleasure, and relationships.
