All ARTIST FRIENDS!: PUBLIC ART SHOW OPPORTUNITY!!!!! You will create any type of art or creative visual message on a horizontal 4 ft. x 6 ft. canvas or drop cloth. It will be included in a traveling art bomb group show. We expect news media and lots of social media coverage!
In order to participate, you must attend a gathering at The Church of Art, 4814 Saint Clair Ave.,( Enter through large garage door) on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at 7:00 PM.
You may bring your raw canvas or drop cloth if you like ( not mandatory at this time) On this date we will discuss details and get to know each other.
MEETINGS: You must CALL me for garage entrance if you arrive after 7:00PM. I cannot leave garage door open and I probably will not hear you knock. I will open and close garage every 5 minutes from 6:45 pm till 7:05 pm, checking for artists and members to gain entrance. Please try to arrive on time.
New First Project: All members are invited to purchase a 4 ft. X 6 ft. (horizontal orientation..4 ft. tall, 6 ft. long) (after hemming) canvas or drop cloth. We will arrange a day to hem and install grommets at my studio.
When canvasses are ready, each member will paint or draw or apply materials or objects or photographs, or collages to both sides of canvas. ( two art works on one canvas.)
These art works must be complete by March 1st.
Between now and then, we can all suggest public chain-link fence locations, that we will art bomb by hanging our art in a row on the chosen fences. We will discuss moving our canvasses to various fenced locations. An art bomb art show!!!! On The Fence!
Our fellow member, Roger Miller has methods to spread our images on line to go viral.( perhaps millions!)
Press releases will be sent, launching our congregation to the NEWS media!
Please invite art friends and non-members to participate in this first project by sharing this post, talking to friends, and inviting them to our next meeting to become members! They can bring canvasses to their meeting.
