Come join us for a thought-provoking evening where we will be screening a powerful film that explores the persistent Black maternity crisis in Mississippi through the experiences and narratives of Black mothers. Following the film, there will be a discussion led by Getty Israel, the writer, director, and producer of the film. This film aims to shed light on healthcare system in Mississippi, the most unsafe state for a Black woman to give birth.
