Parking:

This fall we are only able to offer free parking in the open lot next to the Convention Center.

Please do not park in areas that are reserved for other buildings as towing is enforced.

We are not able to offer parking passes in other areas.

Interviews may occur at the CMCC only, September 30, 8:30am-4:30pm.

Check-in will begin at 8am to allow staff to set up and prepare for your day.

Please note the Exhibit Hall will not open until we arrive.

No more than 2 reps per booth

All companies must sign in.

We will assign your booth number upon arrival.

Parking is in the open lot next to the CMCC. Free of charge.

We will not be able to offer parking passes for other lots.

Due to limited space, please reserve your interviews as soon as you are able.

Shipments:

Shipments (send only to the PRX address below) to be received by: September 15

Please note that displays must be received three business days prior to the job fair to ensure delivery to the location of the fair. Please do not ship to the DMSB or Convention Center.

We kindly ask you work with PRX as they are managing the drayage.

Return shipping following event: Please prepare your items to be shipped FedEX or UPS.

All companies are responsible for contacting their appropriate carrier and arranging pick up at the address above.

PRX will be on site to answer your questions.

Exhibit Parameters:

All exhibits must be limited to the size of the 8' table.

No vehicles or animals are allowed at the EXPO.

All items for your display must be able to fit onto or behind your table.

Tables may not be taken down to allow for bigger displays.

This will ensure that all employers have adequate and fair space and students can navigate the EXPO in an efficient and safe manner. Each company will be provided one 8' skirted table, 2 chairs for 2 reps only per table, reserved parking and lunch.

Each table will have marked spaces on the floor where the students may approach and stand to talk with you.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

The following items are prohibited inside the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center:

No outside food and beverage

No coolers (of any kind)**

No weapons (of any kind)

No confetti, glitter, helium balloons, flower petals, fireworks, sparklers, open flame candles chalk and similar items***

No spectator bags larger than 18' x 16" **

**bags larger than 18" x 16" and coolers are allowed for medical necessity and/or nursing mothers

***charges apply if excessive clean up or removal of prohibited items are required.

Excessive clean up fee is 1/4 of the room rate

To maximize your time with our students, lunch will be available between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. We ask if you step away for lunch you provide the students a note of your return time.

The Business EXPO is open to organizations who have either full-time and/or internship opportunities available for Business students only. 

If you are an employer looking to source early career business talent, and/or experienced graduate level business students, then attending our Business EXPO needs to be part of your recruiting strategy.

  • Learn about the Moore School degree programs
  • Meet our faculty and staff
  • Meet students in a career fair setting 
  • Partner with the Office of Career Management and the Moore School
  • Conduct info sessions the day before or following EXPO
  • Interview students the following day

Due to safety precautions, we have reduced the table amounts to 70 with no more than 2 reps per table. Please register your 2 reps. Students will be allowed to approach your table 4 at a time. Set up of items must be within your 8' table space to allow room for all company displays. ONE SIDED Table display/Banners only please

Cancellation policy: Should you and/or your organization need to cancel, we must receive your request in writing to [email protected] no later than September 15 2021. Due to expenses incurred, no refunds will be issued if requested after September 15, 2021 or after EXPO. 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • Registration cost per table: $675
  • There will not be varying costs offered for this event or discounts applied.
  • Postings:  postings should be in Handshake and approved no later than September 15

Return shipping following event: All companies are responsible for return shipment of their items.  Please prepare and attach return shipment labels to items being shipped via FedEx or UPS. You will be provided a form to complete for PRX Exposition Services to pick up, however, you must call your carrier with your account number.  All items are the responsibility of each company.

If you are not personally attending the event, we ask that you please provide this information to the appropriate colleague(s) who are.

  1. Answer "yes"/"no" to the order form question "will you be joining us for interviews the following day?"
  2. If "yes", answer following questions about number of booths and lunch attendance

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Interviews will be held 9/30/21 at the Convention Center in a pipe and drape format (2 interviewers/1 interviewee per booth).
  • To allow our staff time to arrive and set up for your day, you may check-in beginning at 8:00am.
  • Create interview schedules during 8:30am-4:30pm with the students you meet. 
  • Inform the student of their time and location of interview.
  • Inform students to arrive for check-in 10 minutes prior.

  • Lunch - will be offered 11:30am-1:30pm if you registered to lunch with us.
