COMING to the OREGON COAST NEXT MONTH!!! On- Leash Reactive Dog Class
On-leash reactivity is when a dog exhibits fearful behaviors when presented with whatever stimuli triggers this extreme on-leash response. It is characterized by pulling, barking, lunging, growling, air snapping, or even biting. Sometimes it is also an overexcited state of mind that has created a reaction to pull the owner to greet dogs on leash, that may not necessarily want to be greeted. The dog may become aggressive when the dog is restrained by a leash, confined to a small space, or otherwise feels trapped.
This class is for those that suffer in this, often frustrated and alone. It is confusing, embarrassing, and it can change so much of the life, and the relationship between the dog and owner. This class will meet 1 x a week, for 1 hour, over 4 weekends. Our classes will be held on Saturday mid morning - mid afternoon. We will also have a REACTIVE DOG SUPPORT GROUP, where we will offer a structured pack walk every other month or more from Spring to Fall. This will help to keep the training relevant and practiced, and also to help keep everyone working together, moving forward in the right direction. This will be your support team and tribe!
The method that I will teach you and your dog uses zero treats, no prong collars, no e-collars, and no aggressive, or rough training methods. It sounds crazy and believe me I was a sceptic at first when I was taught this method, but the proof is in the pudding! I have been able to successfully help 100's of dogs and their owners using this method. It is work, it is a shift, and it is a game changer. The method is called The Jentle Method.
Cost of this class is $395.00 for 4 weeks/1 hour a week (this includes the 1 private 1 on 1 session and the leash/tool we will be using in this course)
