It's time for the 7th Annual International Rueda de Casino Flash Mob! This year we’ll be dancing near the Golden Gate Bridge Welcome Center (SF side). Here’s the schedule:
1:30 - 3:30pm Meet at the picnic area (GGB Welcome Center)

4:00 - 7:00pm After Party at Mars Bar (798 Brannan St.) - $10 Cover
LOCATION:
The Golden Gate Bridge Welcome center in SF is accessible by bus and has several parking lots that are close by. It is a popular destination so be sure to allow extra time to find parking if you plan to drive. We will begin in the picnic area, just down the stairs from the plaza and across the bike path, under the large trees (see photo), where we’ll review moves, set partners, etc. Then we’ll do the Flash Mob itself in the large plaza. AFTER PARTY:
We will be throwing an After Party at Mars Bar San Francisco (798 Brannan St.) from 4 to 7pm, with Música Cubana for open dancing & ruedas. Mars Bar serves food and has a full bar — $10 Cover.
CLASSES:
We will be teaching the calls for the Rueda Flash Mob at all of our rueda classes from now until March 21st. Fridays at 7:30pm and 8:30pm (Multi-level every hour) at ODC in SF, Mondays 7:15pm and 8:30pm (Multi-level every hour) at Lake Merritt Dance Center in Oakland, as well as Sundays at ODC in SF. CALLS:
To participate in the Flash Mob, dancers must know all calls from Levels 1 and 2 from the RCR Curriculum. There will also be a group who knows all Level 3 moves. We will BRIEFLY review the calls starting at 1:30pm, but there are too many calls to participate without previous knowledge. The flash mob will begin with a brief choreography, then Level 3 dancers will enter, and finally Level 2 dancers will enter with everyone dancing together.
