About this Event
On an Overgrown Path — a piano recital inspired by Scandinavian nature
After winning the prestigous Norwegian Nils Larsen debut grant, it is with great pleasure that we present this late summer evening concert with pianist Thormod Rønning Kvam in the beautiful St James’s Piccadilly.
Considered one of the most innovative and exciting Scandinavian musicians of his generation, Thormod will be taking us on a musical journey inspired by nature: From Robert Schumann’s evocative Waldszenen, through Leoš Janáček’s atmospheric On an Overgrown Path to his native Edvard Grieg’s monumental Ballade, this will be an interesting and varied concert programme for both new and experienced listeners.
For full programme details and to read a personal message from Thormod, visit his website now.
A warm welcome to all!
