About this Event

For our first event of 2022 we have curated a line-up of On Air's close friends to bring you an intimate get together of what we truly believe to be some of Bristol's best producers and DJ's. We truly believe in the love and energy that events can provide for people, a place to escape and connect with like-minded individuals in a safe and exciting environment. We hope that this party in particular will help provide that to all of you in our first event of the new year!

Main Room:

Robots With No Soul: Don't be fooled by robotic motifs- Robots With No Soul is an electronic battle cry for authenticity. The British techno renegade is driven by pit-of-the-stomach feeling. There is no boxing, packaging and mass-producing his off-kilter drum beats, raging basslines and emotive melodies. Rejecting mechanical, copy-and-paste culture for something far deeper, his music is a personal exploration into the possibilities of sound.

RWNS quickly caught the attention of modern techno's most distinctive duo, Dense & Pika. After joining their roster to play the Watergate Berlin main room in 2018, the DJ-producer went on to release an album on their acclaimed Kneaded Pains label in 2020. More recently, RWNS gained a new fan in the name of Sasha, one of the most iconic and successful DJ's and Producers on the electronic dance music scene, leading to the release of his most recent EP 'Sedona Circle' on Sasha's own label Last Night on Earth. The label has seen releases from the likes of Franky Wah, Ejeca, Mr. Sosa and La Fleur and RWNS even gained a remix of his track 'Morning Glory' by Bristol's very own Eats Everything. Don't believe the hype though, check out his music for yourself!

Transistor Rhythms: Co-Founder of party brands Automation Inc & Cirque Electronique, Transistor Rhythms is no stranger to the techno scene. With releases on Dense & Pika's label Kneaded Pains, Eatmybeat and Apex Records, Transistor Rhythms draws inspiration from Bristol bass culture and delivers a techno soundscape to bring you into the mainframe of his digital world. With frequent residency on 1020 Radio and a regular at our own nights too, we can confidently say that this set will be a real treat!

Sirenco B2B william: On Air Resident and Bristol-based DJ and Producer Sirenco has been very quickly making a name for himself on the House and Techno scene. Taking over from the legendary Darren Emerson at our first event back in 2019, then turning up the heat at the Defected Day and Night Party at Motion to smashing out a debut B2B with William, we are actually honoured to have him rejoin the crew alongside william for our first event of the new year. William, owner of event brand SixWasNine, an ever-growing underground Birmingham and Bristol based collective and party, first impressed us at our Stokes Croft Day Party. Since then he has gone on to support Dusky at the legendary Lakota, play alongside some of House and Techno's biggest names at Summer of Love festival and build his own following with his music productions and sets on both SWU and 1020 Radio. These two are blowing up Bristol and we can't wait to see the energy that both these talented, energetic producers and DJ's bring to Basement 45 on the 4th!

Second Room:

LUKE: After making his On Air debut back in October, we were very, very excited to invite him back! As a trained musician, born and bred in Bristol, this guy has toured the country in bands playing keys, guitar and singing. With a huge passion for House and Techno and an impressively keen ear for music, LUKE has now turned his hand to the decks. The positive feedback we received from multiple people after his closing set last year proved to us that this guy really has a huge talent for reading a crowd and selecting perfect tracks to fit the night.

EDETTO: Bristol based DJ and Producer edetto has been immersed in his hometown's thriving electronic music scene. His Bristolian influences are clearly displayed in his infectious, drum-driven productions and high energy DJ sets. In 2018, edetto launched his own imprint, a DIY self-release operation showcasing his first singles. 2021 then saw edetto join the ranks at Eats Everything and Andres Campo's EI8HT imprint. With radio shows alongside Boxia, Carl Cox playing his track 'Hustler', a remix for Transistor Rhythms and shows with Apex and Love Saves The Day.... need we say more?!

Dealo Brown: We first booked Dealo to play in March 2020, but for obvious reasons this event had to unfortunately be cancelled. We feel really privileged to be able to have him finally be part of our crew, this time behind the decks! Dealo has followed what we do right from the start and has shown us so much support and love that we wanted to do the same in return! Dealo really caught our attention during lockdown, his weekly livestreams showcasing his talent for mixing and connecting with an audience even during such difficult times really proved to us how passionate he is about the underground scene and what it represents. Come check him out and show him some love!
