I used to watch this movie every weekend growing up, and it absolutely altered my brain chemistry. I would spend my nights planning my perfect heist and trying to decide if I was in love with Danny Ocean or wanted to be Danny Ocean. Rewatching it as an adult, I sincerely believe this is the perfect film. There isnโt a second wasted, with its razor-sharp editing and flawless scriptโwhich I can probably recite from memory. The cast sweeps you up in their charm, and suddenly youโre watching a magic trick, and it's one Iโll never get tired of. Thank you, Odyssey Film Institute, for making my dreams come true by seeing this on 35mm.
