To kick off another great year of the North Wales Coffee scene, join us for an evening at with our speciality green coffee sourcing partners who work across Africa to connect roasters to farmers and producers.
The evening will be relaxed, there will be a chance learn lots, taste a variety of coffees, meet new people and hear stories from recent origin trips.
Some of you may know that Steff recently took a trip to Zambia with Dave (Head of Coffee at Omwani) and a group of other coffee roasteries to visit Mount Sunzu Coffee. Mount Sunzu Coffee Ltd is a specialty coffee producer operating in northern Zambia, near the country's highest mountain, Mount Sunzu. Founded in 2018, the company is dedicated to revolutionizing coffee production through sustainable and climate-smart farming practices, cutting-edge technology, and a strong commitment to social and environmental responsibility. We have just added a new component to our popular Espresso Blend from this area and we would love to share the amazing stories behind why we’ve chosen to do this. Steff and Dave will be chatting about this trip and we can’t wait to hear more about it!
What to expect:
Refreshments- Don’t forget to arrive early- grab yourself a drink from the Taproom down stairs which has a huge range of local craft beers, thoughtfully selected spirits, wines and soft drinks to choose from. We will be using the upstairs room but the bar will be open downstairs all evening for refreshments.
