Start collecting your cans! We are hosting a field trip to OmniSource's Rocky Mount Recycling Facility!What to expect:
1. A presentation on the plant and what they do will be presented first.
2. A foot tour for 13yr olds and up will be given. For your children's safety, younger children will not be able to walk through this portion. (Make sure everyone has proper closed toed shoes.)
3. Following the walk through, we will all get to drive through the scrap yard for a caravan tour of the facility.
Things to remember:
-All ages are welcome! Only the middle portion is limited by age and you are free to allow your older children to join the others or bring a 2nd parent along so one can walk.
-Proper shoes
-There is a limit of 8 vehicles and 40 people. We can carpool for the driving portion of the tour. Please indicate on your registration form if you are able to have others join in your vehicle for the driving portion of the tour.
