A Day on Prayer Led by Dave Tomlinson (author of "How to be a Bad Christian" and "The Post-Evangelical" and Radio 2 contributor to 'Pause for Thought')Prayer is less a religious activity than a universal human instinct, something people of all faiths and none do in some way or other, often without realising it or without even necessarily believing there is ‘someone’ to pray to.
This is a day to reimagine the nature of prayer, to explore new ways to pray, and to ponder afresh who it is that we pray to.
We will explore if and how prayer can make a difference in our world, see what light science now throws on prayer and ask the difficult questions about prayer – please bring yours.
We'll be asking if participants can chip £10 into the cost of the day.
