Fresh from winning his third European Number One, European Tour legend Lee Westwood has a date with the Majlis, a familiar terrain to the golf star who was runner-up in 1999, 2010 and 2012. He'll be joined by Ian Poulter and Paul Casey, who boast 26 European Tour titles between them, as well as former OMEGA Dubai Desert Classic winner Rafa Cabrera Bello. Keep an eye out for 23-year-old rising star Collin Morikawa – ranked seventh internationally – make his debut at the 'Major of the Middle East' alongside tournament veterans Sergio Garcia and Tommy Fleetwood. Other confirmed names include Ryder Cup heroes Justin Rose and Tyrrell Hatton and defending champion Lucas Herbert.
As golf's finest tee off on the Majlis course, all COVID-19 protocols will be observed as the championship is held within a safe bio-secure environment. Attendance in person is by invite-only but open to all via mainstream broadcast sports networks.
