In the fall of 2024, the ROOTS conference will blossom, inviting us all to grow together as teachers and
learners. We will gather together to discuss, listen, reflect, learn, and act as we co-create a vision for music
education spaces where all students know they matter and belong. ROOTS brings together joy in music
making, multi-centric knowledges, honours a world view of lived and living experiences, and celebrates learning
through relationships with our students and each other.
