Helping the playcentre parents clear OMB and plant out about 100 plants. After two previous working bees, there's not a lot of OMB left to clear - there's some ivy and Japanese honeysuckle to be cleared too.Meet at Kelburn Playcentre on 17 Kowhai Road at 10am.
The slope is moderate to steep. Please wear clothing that covers your arms and legs and wear sturdy shoes or boots. If you have gardening gloves, secateurs and a spade or grubber, please bring those. We'll bring some spares if you don't have them.
Beginners are welcome, we'll run an introductory session to show you how to tackle Old Man's Beard.
