Registration is open for the 27th annual Women’s Health and Wellness Conference, presented by the Olson Center for Women’s Health, UNMC and Nebraska Medicine. Join the conference for a day of education, exhibits and health screenings. This year’s conference will be held at the Scott Conference Center from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25.

The Omaha Women’s Health and Wellness Conference is designed for the community, as well as nurses and social workers seeking continuing education credits. The cost to attend is $75 for general registration and $110 for nurses and social workers. Health screenings are an additional cost.

Accredited Continuing Education
In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Olson Center for Women’s Health. University of Nebraska Medical Center is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
Nurses
The University of Nebraska Medical Center designates this activity for 5.0 ANCC contact hours. Nurses should only claim credit for the actual time spent participating in the activity.
Social Workers
As a Jointly Accredited Organization, the University of Nebraska Medical Center is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. Social workers participating in this conference will receive up to 5.0 clinical/general continuing education credits. The content level of this activity is intermediate.
