Participants raise pledges leading up to the event, and every dollar helps provide year-round, inclusive programming for Special Olympics Nebraska athletes in sports, health, education, and leadership.
❄️ What the Polar Plunge Is
The Polar Plunge is a statewide fundraising tradition where individuals and teams raise pledges and take an icy dip to support Special Olympics Nebraska. It’s full of costumes, excitement, team spirit, and community pride.
❄️ What to Expect
Plungers must raise a minimum of $50 to participate. Costumes are encouraged, and Omaha will award:
• 🥇 Top 3 Fundraisers
• 🎭 Best Costume
Celebrate afterward with food, warmth, and awards at Brewsky’s Food & Spirits (15350 Weir St.)

9:30 AM – Check-in begins
11:00 AM – Plunge begins
