The OMA Book Club is for lovers of literature and art. Each month we’ll discuss a different text in relation to works on view in the Museum. Join us for an afternoon of literary gossip in the galleries.
This month we'll discuss the text "After the Revolution: Women Who Transformed Contemporary Art" by Eleanor Heartney, Helaine Posner, Nancy Princenthal and Sue Scott.
Four prominent art critics and curators look at the achievements of twelve contemporary artists who had a great impact on the art world. Included are: Marina Abramović, Louise Bourgeois, Ann Hamilton, Jenny Holzer, Shirin Neshat, Dana Schutz and Nancy Spero. These artists from OMA’s collection are also included: Ellen Gallagher, Elizabeth Murray, Judy Pfaff, Cindy Sherman, and Kiki Smith.
Tuition for the Spring Season: $40, Member’s receive a 10% discount on season tuition
