Harrisburg Improv Theatre Presents: Olympus: A Retrospective - A mockumentary delving deep into a vintage science fiction TV show that never existed.
"In 1973, the greatest television show of all time premiered and no one knew what it was really about. Until now.
Olympus: A Retrospective tells the behind-the-scenes story of the 70s British Sci-fi sensation "The Olympus Chronicles".
Nearly fifty years after the show’s cancellation, a documentary team has uncovered never-before-seen footage, which, combined with interviews from the show’s fans, critics, and creators, reveal what just might be the true meaning of the mad-cap series.
From a staged nuclear-scare, to a clunky drug-infused space concert, this spoof of such classics as Dr. Who and Star Trek takes you on a journey back to a time when speculative fiction was, albeit, much dumber, yet no less willing to take swings at the universe’s big questions."
