Hellotus! My name is Lilly Brown, and I am an 18-year-old artist, activist, and fairy unicorn from Olympia, Washington. I love color, music, passion, and art! Olympia oozes creative inspiration with its whimsical atmosphere and funky community, which has never failed to paint my sketchbook silly. My art style is heavily maximalist, with whimsical, playful themes and influences from pop art, fauvism, and abstract expressionism. Some of my creative inspirations include Jean-Michel Basquiat, Wassily Kandinsky, and my uncle, Kurtis “Lightning Eagle” Taylor.I focus on extreme details, incorporating inspiration from everything around me—symbols, song lyrics, the facial expressions of strangers, or colors to reflect a current mood. I use the world as my creative muse. My art tells expressive stories that can be either sad and sorrowful or sporadically silly! This is my first installation as an artist, and I am eager to share my colorful world with you! :D
