Stephanie Guzman will be here sharing The Adventures of Oliver the Clownfish: Acting Cool and presenting a craft! Maryland native, Stephanie Guzman resides with her husband and daughter. She has a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Delaware and a master’s degree in Reading from Towson University. She is a National Board-Certified Teacher working for HCPS as a reading and gifted and talented specialist.
When she began her teaching career, she noticed there were few books available addressing the many character development issues that are important today. Her series, Adventures of Oliver the Clownfish, does this, and has been honored as being a USA Best Book Award finalist and a Dove award winner for family friendliness.
