The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism - Tier 2 Training

This is the registration page for The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism Tier 2, the full-day face-to-face session. To proceed, please ensure that you have completed the first part of Oliver’s Training, the e-learning.

These sessions are practical and immersive, designed for staff who regularly have direct contact with individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism.

What is The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training?

In July, the Health and Care Act 2022 introduced a requirement that regulated service providers ensure their staff receive training on learning disability and autism, which is appropriate to the person’s role.

The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism is the standardised training that was developed for this purpose and is the government's preferred and recommended training for health and social care staff to undertake.
