Olives have been a significant part of the Mediterranean culture since prehistoric times. Olive trees are among the oldest known cultivated trees in the world and this class will not only give you a tasting experience, but also a deep dive into the world of olives. This class will cover:

o What to look for when buying olive oil (facts versus marketing)

o Olive oil tasting-a tasting of our delicious current harvest fresh-squeezed extra virgin olive oils and small batch balsamic vinegars.

Temecula Olive Oil Company are the premier olive oil growers in the area for 25 years. When they first opened their tasting room in 2001, it was the first olive oil tasting room in the country!

At the conclusion of the 1.5 hour class, one lucky winner will win 4 tickets to a special tour of Temecula Olive Oil Company's ranch in Temecula (an $80 value) -- an educational 90 minute guided tour through their olive groves learning about regenerative agriculture, growing olives, harvest techniques, milling and cold-pressing.
