About this Event
Let’s play some Old World, start some new armies, and give you chances to win some prizes as well!
The basic league structure will be an escalation format, with army size increasing in monthly increments. Points for each month are as follows:
October - 1000
November - 1500
December - 2000
You can play games whenever you want, at that point level, plus some set gaming days to organize games.
The cost to participate in the league will be $10 per month.
All participation costs will be used as prizes.
Prizes are given out monthly, via a random draw. Entries can be earned in the following ways:
1 entry for each of your first four games played during the month.
1 entry for winning your first game each month.
1 entry for painting 500 points of models that were unpainted at the beginning of the month. You can do this twice, if you’re feeling ambitions. (We will need before and after pictures).*
That means the total entries you can receive each month is seven (4 for the games played, 1 for a win, 2 for painting). We will also have a separate prize for the person(s) with the most entries at the end of the year.
We are going to officially start the league on October 1st to give everyone a chance to plan what they want to use. We’re planning on running the league for at least 3 months, possibly more depending on interest. Prizes will be a mix of items and gift cards, partially determined by how many people sign up! The whole idea is that this should be fun. It's a great opportunity for anyone getting started in The Old World, so spread the word!
Painting Rules
*For painting pictures, submit your before and after photos to the #warhammer-old-world channel on the Level Up discord and tag @aaron to get credit. If you start a unit one month and don’t finish it, you can finish it the following month for credit that next month.
At a minimum, a “painted” model has at least three colors and a fully painted base.
