Families will experience what life was like in the nineteenth century at the historic Woodside Store in Woodside at Kings Mountain and Tripp Roads between noon and 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 3, during the store’s annual FREE event. Children will learn to saw with a two man-saw, wash clothes the old-fashioned way, split shingles with a mallet and froe, compete in a seed spitting contest, make dolls and much more.
This event is free and open to all.
