Old Pond will host our 17th Legends Charity Day on Sunday 5th May.The event was initiated in memory of Lisa Freeman in 2006 and helps us to raise money for our club charity Cardiomyopathy UK.
As always the mainstay is the current Old Pond team taking on a team of former players, locals of The Old Pond pub and guests at Lane Head Rec. The match kicks off at 11:00am and all are welcome to play. It is roll on roll off subs and all players pay £5 for the privelidge which goes into the charity pot.
Please get yourself down for 10:30; spectators are asked if hey could have a few quid in their pockets as there will be a raffle.
Afterwards it is back to the Old Pond. Again - as society becomes more cashless we do ask that you come wiht some money in the pocket as we do fundraise as well as giving people chance to win prizes throughout the day.
Look forward to seeing lots of old and new faces.
