OVERNIGHT GHOST HUNT & SLEEPOVER: THE OLD JAIL INN — Rockville, IndianaFor 119 years, the only people who slept inside this building had no choice. From 1879 to 1998 it was the Parke County Jail. Original cell block, original iron bars, a bar built into the old drunk tank, and a boiler house out back where the county's last hanging took place in 1888. This is not a recreation. It is the real jail.
Owners, staff and guests consistently report the same things: heavy footsteps pacing the empty cell block, iron doors slamming despite being chained open, names called from empty cells, shadow figures and orbs on the second floor, cold hands in the dark, and the feeling of something climbing into bed beside you in the night.
This is a guided overnight ghost hunt led by the Haunted Rooms America team. History and ghost briefing on arrival, structured vigils through the cell block, second floor, drunk tank and common areas with professional equipment, then free investigation in the early hours.
