The bell ringers of All Saints, Glossop, are offering dedicated hour-long workshops to teach you some of the basics of bell ringing. This is a taster event, open to all, though aimed mainly at those who might want to learn to ring to join the regular band in 2026.
Each workshop will offer you the chance to chime a bell and learn the first stages of bell handling, including controlling the rope, ringing the bell up, and possibly standing the bell. Money taken from ticket sales will go to tower funds to support ringing.
