Have you ever wondered why classic cocktails work? Do you ever wish you could come up with your own variations at home? This class is the 1st of 6 in a series that will follow the premise behind the famous cocktail book "Cocktail Codex", which argues that all the cocktails we see today have derived from 1 of 6 classic cocktail recipes. This class will focus on the Old Fashioned and all the cocktails that have been created following it's strutcture. We will show you the secret behind a good old fashioned, as well as the differnt ways it can be served in different regions of the country. We will explain how the components of this classic cocktail work together and how changing just one of them can result in an entirely new cocktail. The kitchen will also be creating some exquisite food pairings to go with your cocktails. Join us for a fun, interactive evening of drinks, food, and good company!
