Join Bounding Main at the Old Falls Village Park for the Old Falls Renaissance Faire – Jacobean Weekend! After the death of Queen Elizabeth I in 1603 the crown went to James VI of Scotland, who became James I of England. It was an enlightened time of continued support of William Shakespeare and renaissance theater, arts and sciences. There will be a court of characters at the festival that will share the many stories of the age with the festival visitors. Of course, the British navy remained a powerful thing, and Bounding Main will be there to share maritime songs with the audience.
In addition to our performances you will be able to enjoy face painting, vendors, birds of prey, historical reenactors, ice cream, Old Falls biergarten, and more.
We are performing all weekend at various times.
