Ladies, having completed some market research, I think it would be fair to say that quite a few of you could do with decluttering your handbag collection and what better way to do this, than by also raising money for charity at the same time. I have organised a charity event, aptly named “The Old Bags” coffee morning on Saturday 30th of November from 10am to 12 noon at the Bear in Bilton, Rugby, Warwickshire.
We are requesting that you donate one or two good quality handbags that can then be resold and reused at the coffee morning. All bags will be very reasonably priced and all proceeds will be going to Myton Hospice.
Handbags can be handed to myself or to Angela Lawrence and we have also arranged drop-off points at the following locations:
Cuppa in Dunchurch on Daventry Road
Belvoir Rugby on Newbold Road
We hope to raise funds for this fantastic charity, alongside you decluttering your wardrobes and also enjoying a coffee and a mince pie on the day. All beverages to be purchased at the bar.
Any bags not sold will be donated to the Myton shop.
So please, have a good look through your wardrobes and donate a bag or two. 👜
The great thing about handbags, is that it doesn’t matter how much weight you gain, they will always fit! A bit like scarves and flip flops! 😂
