Join us for two full weekends of authentic German celebrations. Oktoberfest in El Cajon, hosted by the German American Societies, is the closest thing to Munich’s Oktoberfest you’ll find in Southern California!The 2025 event is scheduled to take place Sept. 26-28 & Oct. 3-5.
TIMES: Fridays, 4 - 10 p.m.; Saturdays, 12 - 10 p.m.; Sundays, 12 - 9 p.m.
Enjoy German food such as bratwurst, ox-on-the-spit, potato pancakes, sauerkraut, red cabbage, potato salad, salted pretzels, and a variety of European pastries. Let a great selection of German beers and liquors – or water, soft drinks and coffee – quench your thirst while you enjoy traditional folk dancing, choir recitals, drama routines, stein-holding competitions, and interactive musical entertainment. Games, contests and prizes, a Kid Zone and a variety of shopping booths line the patio “tent” for additional all-ages fun.
Raffles prizes will be drawn daily, purchase them at the event and maybe you'll be the lucky grand prize winner of a round trip flight for two to Germany! Grand prize winner need not be present to claim the prize, but winners of a variety of wonderful door prizes drawn throughout the fest must be present to receive your prizes.
You don’t need to be German to join the party. Everyone is welcome!
