PROST! St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church is excited to announce the
Third Annual Oktoberfest to be held on Saturday, September 28th, 2024 from 11 AM to
7 PM. This festive event promises a day filled with the sights, sounds, and tastes of a
200-year-old Bavarian tradition.
Attendees will enjoy a variety of traditional German dishes including schnitzel,
bratwurst, spaetzle, German potato salad, sauerkraut, red cabbage, soft pretzels, and
delicious desserts. A selection of adult beverages will be available for purchase along
with root beer for the younger crowd. The event will feature continuous German music
with a special live performance by the local German band The Polka Dots.
In addition to the delicious food and lively music, this family-friendly event includes
activities for children, a dedicated "Kinder Menu" and root beer. Oktoberfest is open to
the public with no admission fee. Costs for meals and beverages are separate. Guests
are encouraged to wear traditional dirndls and lederhosen to fully immerse themselves
in the Oktoberfest experience.
