Raise your stein and toast the spirit of Bavaria as Saugatuck/Douglas Community Pride once again hosts Oktoberfest! This inclusive community event, celebrated every October, brings our diverse community together for a day of fun, food, and festivities…and everyone is welcome!
FESTIVITIES INCLUDE:
- "Tapping of the Keg" with community leaders
- Lively tunes to set the Oktoberfest mood from Ein Prosit, an authentic German band from Kalamazoo
- Traditional dance performances by Saugatuck’s very own Dance Asylum performers.
- Keg toss competition
- A variety of beverages from Saugatuck Brewing and Modales Winery
- Mouthwatering cuisine, including bratwursts and pretzels
- Thumpbox Music's DJ John E spinning your favorite tunes
Admission is $5 at the door and money raised will provide funding for future Community Pride MI events and experiences that create a sense of community and a safe space for all individuals in the Saugatuck/Douglas community.
