Fall is just around the corner and so is Oktoberfest!!! The annual event is Saturday, Oct. 4, 11-4, at The Homestead in Wytheville. FREE admission! Music from The Great Big Hug on the stage from 12-3. Food and beer will be available for purchase. Heritage trade demonstrations, children's activities. Event will close with the German traditional burning of the butzemann (scarecrow). Free parking at adjacent visitors center, 975 Tazewell Street.
