The 4th Annual Oktoberfest is back at Saddleback Mountain on Saturday, October 5, 2024! 🍻🍻 Munich meets Maine in this fall spectatcular celebration. It's going to be a keg-tossing, stein-hoisting, brat-eating, beer-flowing good time.Sport your best Oktoberfest dress, dance to live music, check out local vendors and sample traditional-style brews.
Earn your beers! 🍻🍻 The day kicks off with the annual OKTOBERFEST 5K RACE up the mountain.
It's not a festival without LIVE MUSIC! Enjoy performances on the deck from 1-3 p.m. featuring Toby McAllister & The Sierra Sounds.
Get winter-ready and shop the deepest discounts of the year on skis, boards, and boots at our Fall CLEARANCE Ski Sale. This is going to be a day of fall fun you don't want to miss!
Schedule of Events:
10-11 a.m. – Oktoberfest 5K
11 a.m. – Festival gates open.
12 p.m. – Pie Eating Contest. The winner gets a pie and a gift card to The Pub
1:00-3:00 – Toby McAllister & The Sierra Sounds performs.
2:30 – Stein Hoisting Championship! 10 men’s/women’s qualifiers will go head-to-head. This is always an Oktoberfest favorite – don’t miss it! Raise your stein and keep it raised! Thanks to our stein sponsor, Hight Auto!
Happening All Day – 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
*Scenic Lift Rides are not included in your admission. Upgrade your experience for an additional $20.
*Keg Toss & Stein Hoisting – these events will run all day. Qualify for the Stein Hosting Championship until 2 p.m.
*Craft Beer & Cider Sampling from Orono Brewing Company, Dasch Seltzer, Freedom’s Edge Cider, and Sebago Brewing Company.
*Axe Throwing with The Axe Pit – thank you Morton & Furbish Vacation Rentals & Realty!
*Costume Contest. Dust off the lederhosen! The person in the best-dressed Oktoberfest attire will win an awesome prize.
*Fall CLEARANCE SALE! Get serious savings on skis, boards and winter apparel.
*Vendor Village – visit vendor booths for sweet treats like apple crisp and local goods.
