It's time, once again, for Oktoberfest at Das Alpenhaus Delikatessen LLC!Time to dust off your Dirndl or Lederhosen and make sure everything fits all nice. Traditional dress is encouraged.
The details:
* You may bring a 10x10 table tent without sides to shade yourself and some new friends. You are 100% responsible for whatever happens to it.
* You must bring a NON-EXPIRED, government issued ID if you plan on drinking alcohol. Boise City Police doesn't give a hoot if you are 100 years old or not. ID is required.
* We're planning on having 16+ AUTHENTIC German / Austrian beers, a red wine and a white wine.
* We'll also have soft drinks and water for those not drinking alcohol.
* NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGE - INCLUDING WATER - ALLOWED IN THE VENUE. No coolers. No big bags. You get it.
* We'll be serving the favorites: Pretzels, Schweinehaxe, Eisbein, Paprikahändl, Brats (some accompanied with Sauerkraut and Warm German Potato Salad)!
* Drink responsibly. Unattended alcoholic beverages will be pulled. Keep your drink with you or lose it. Get a safe ride home. We don't need anything bad happening to anyone.
* Parking is ANYWHERE BUT HERE. We're like visiting a downtown venue. You have to park somewhere else and walk to the event. Also, if you park in neighborhoods, please don't block people's driveways - that's just plain rude.
* We will be having a daily Stein Hoisting challenge for the gents and the ladies each day around 5:30pm. Start practicing for that Masskrugstemmen!
* Last but not least, HAVE FUN! This is a bonkers event. We have lots of people here from all walks of life. Focus on fun and being respectful of each other.
