Prost to our plovers! Looking for an excuse to hang with your fellow bird enthusiasts, drink a beer, and support a good cause? We've got the event for you-Okploverfest is back at Braided River Brewing Saturday October 25th!
There are SEVEN species of plovers that rely on critical habit found on the Alabama coast. These small charismatic shorebirds are indicators of our coastline's health. Come raise a glass as we raise awareness for some of cutest shorebirds around.
What to expect:
•Cold craft beers on tap by our pals at Braided River
•On-site printing of custom plover swag with block prints by Adrienne Clow of the Eastern Shore Arts Center
•Plover-themed trivia and activities
•Bird friends and good vibes
All proceeds go towards coastal bird conservation in Mobile and Baldwin County. We hope to see you there🍻
