I am going on an "urban adventure ride" Sunday morning and will ride alleyways, dirt and gravel roads, city streets, and go places you may not have known existing in the OKC urban area. We pass lots of homeless camps on this ride. Meet at OnCue Express on Kelly and 33rd Street in Edmond at 8 am Sunday morning. Kickstands up 8:15.
My rules for this ride:
Be respectful of private property.
Keep the noise down in neighborhoods.
Follow ALL traffic laws.
You are responsible for your own safety. AKA: Don't be a dumbass and pull out in front of car just because the rider in front of you took off.
Don't rip through neighborhoods, ride on lawns, make a lot of noise on Sunday morning in a quiet neighborhood, don't ride on posted property. This is more of a fun sightseeing trip through urban OKC and you will most likely see places you never knew existed.
I always ride armed but have never had any issues in downtown OKC, but we will be riding through some pretty sketchy areas, so take care of your own safety. I have been pulled over by police several times on these rides so now I call them up ahead of time and let them know what we will be doing so the police won't be surprised by a bunch of dirt bikes running around OKC. Please don't make a bad name for our group. Be respectful and have fun.
