We usually avoid weekend camping trips due to the crowds and campsite demand. However, our members polled preferred one, so this will be our only weekend camping trip this summer.
This Canada Day holiday we'll take a road trip to the beautiful Okanagan, camping and hiking in Kelowna, Penticton, Salmon Arm, Sicamous and Kamloops. We'll leave on Wednesday after work and return Sunday evening, for a total of 4 nights and 4 days.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, just like last summer we'll limit the group size to one car (4 people), follow all health protocols by assigning individual tents and cooking, and keep our social distancing in check.
The cost of the trip, including 4 nights camping, transportation, food, all guided hikes and photography lessons, is $300. Please pre-register to confirm your spot, while the remaining balance will be due 2 weeks before our trip.
