🔥 Keynote Talk with Raskal Turbervile — Soil ecologist, mycology consultant, and founder of Soil Ecology Analytics, Raskal brings decades of hands-on experience in regenerative agriculture and fungal science. After spending years in the commercial mushroom world, he has returned to the soil — helping farmers and ecologists boost microbial life through cutting-edge microscopy and practical mycological education. A beloved Ojai native and true local legend, Raskal was born and raised in this valley and remains a cherished part of our community. Now living in Washington with his family, he dedicates his life to teaching how fungi can heal the land—especially in the wake of wildfires. We are deeply honored to welcome him back for the first ever Ojai Mushroom Symposium.
