In this 2-hour class, students will explore the rich color, expressive qualities, and unique textures of oil pastels while working from a variety of still-life examples. Guided by instructor Karen Drumheller, students will learn foundational techniques such as layering, blending, and expressive mark-making, along with practical guidance on composition, color choices, and creating light and shadow.
