Oil Painting is not just for Realistic Nude portraits and Still Life paintings. Let’s explore some of the amazing techniques and composition tricks of Modern Art Oil Painters like Klee, Kandinsky just to name a couple. We can discuss our favorites and delve into their exciting compositions as we paint. Abstract Art is not as easy as it looks but it is so freeing and expressive.

Alex Donahue is an artist with a large repertoire of skills ranging from fine arts, mixed media, murals, a master picture framer and everything else in between! She knows it all! She has studied at the Rhode Island School of Design, Boston School of the Museum of Fine Arts, and College of Design - NC State University. She is the general manager of the DC location of Plaza Artist Materials.
