4 weeks November 17 - December 15 (no class the week of Thanksgiving)

Learn how to paint with oils; where to start, oil painting basics, foundational practices, underpainting and building the details, composition and leading the eye, color theory and mixing, creating form with shadow and light, florals plus landscapes and still lifes.
Students bring
-oil painting starter kit with a mix of colors including titanium white, cadium red, ultra marine blue, cadium yellow, burnt umber,
-roll of paper towels
-mix of oil painting brushes
-Linseed oil
-metal knife palette
