Get ready to hit the ice December 28 – 30 at the Oil Barons 3-on-3 Hockey Challenge! The event will kick off with a skills competition the morning of December 28 and conclude on the evening of December 30 with the presentation of medals!
*REGISTRATION UPDATE: November 20th, 2024*
Don’t be deterred about adding your name to the waitlist! We want to provide a status update for each division:
U7: Currently at 6 teams, aiming for 8. Once the waitlist reaches 16 players, we’ll confirm registrations to form 8 teams. Let’s get those spots filled!
U9: Goalies needed! We need 3 more goalies to complete 8 teams. The player waitlist is full and will be used for withdrawals.
U11: 5 player spots left to complete 12 teams. After these are filled, the waitlist will remain open for withdrawal coverage. Goalies can join the waitlist for withdrawal spots.
U13: Registration is waitlist-only for both players and goalies to fill any withdrawals.
U16: Currently at 6 teams, aiming for 8. Once the waitlist reaches 18 players, we’ll confirm registrations for 8 teams. Goalies can join the waitlist for withdrawal spots.
Registration Dates:
• Registration Opens: November 13 at 10:00am
• Early Bird Deadline: November 27 at 11:59pm
• Registration Closes: December 8 at 11:59pm
Registration Fees:
• $79 for Members
• $94 for Non-Members
• Goalies play for FREE!
Registration includes an Oil Barons 3-on-3 Hockey Challenge Jersey, automatic entry into the Opening Skills Competition and a minimum of 5 games over the 3 days.
Please note, that players will register as individuals. Please only submit ONE registration per youth, as a player or a goalie. Register early, as last year multiple divisions sold out before the registration deadline.

• Two (2) tickets to two (2) Fort McMurray Oil Barons home games
