OICR Imaging team leaders will present highlights of research resources available to collaborators, followed by virtual tours of our laboratories and technological capabilities. Lunch and networking will follow the Open House.
About the OICR Imaging Program
The OICR Imaging Program works to build Ontario’s capability to accelerate the translation of research and the development of new imaging techniques and probes for cancer into clinical practice.
Featured programs
Centre for Probe Development and Commercialization: provides clinicians with new nuclear medical technologies that can be used for safer imaging and treatment options for cancer.
Medical Imaging Instrumentation and Software: works with researchers, doctors, and companies to solve unmet clinical needs by creating new ultrasound devices as well as software tools for ultrasound, MRI and CT to be used to detect, diagnose, and treat cancer.
Imaging Validation Core: helps get new and better medical imaging systems and biomarker analysis methods into the clinic as quickly as possible.
Quantitative Imaging for Personalized Cancer Medicine: supports imaging research at hospitals by providing tools and services for research groups to support them in conducting imaging-based clinical trials.
