Need to take a break from the outdoors during your visit? Check out "Seeking the Sunday Pitcher- Preserving Raymond Brown’s Legacy” at 12:30pm in the Ohio History Center! Ohio is the birthplace of American baseball and many of its incredible athletes. Raymond Brown, famous Negro Leagues player, was one of those amazing athletes. Learn more about “Ray” Brown, community engagement, and the efforts of local history enthusiasts to honor his achievements in the sport. The Ray Brown Memorial Park in Alger, OH was renamed to honor the baseball star and is working toward an Ohio Historical Marker for Brown’s legacy.
