
About this Event
Make an impact with Paddle Perry as they prepare for the boating season by cleaning up the boat ramps, trails and roadways around the county. This Ohio River Sweep event will take place on Saturday, April 19, 2025.
The event is FREE and welcomes all ages. Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
This event is part of the ORSANCO annual Ohio River Sweep. You will be required to sign a waiver before participating. Learn more here at www.orsanco.org
Bags, gloves, sanitizer, safety vests and reach and grab sticks will be provided on a first come, first serve basis. Please wear brightly colored clothing and good close toed walking shoes.
We will split up into teams and tackle different locations around our county. Team leaders will recruit participants to join them at their destination and may have extra details to share with you. Team 2: Stefan McConnell @ Tell City Boat Ramp at 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. CST
Team 3: Rick Buchanan @ Troy Boat Ramp at 8 – 10 a.m. CST
Team 4: Bernie Overstreet @ Derby Boat Ramps, Rainbow Lake and Mano Point at 8:30 a.m. CST. Meet at Shelter at Derby/Mulzer Park.
