This March Oh! Jazz: Global Stage launches in Winnipeg bringing international jazz performances to the big screen in a way that feels as close to being there as possible. Hosted at The Rec Room Seasons of Tuxedo these screenings offer a rare opportunity to experience the energy and artistry of some of the world’s most renowned jazz musicians filmed live from iconic venues in Spain Australia and more.
The series kicks off in March with Women in Jazz Month spotlighting two standout performances:
March 10 – Zela Margossian Quintet (Sydney Australia) – A mesmerizing fusion of world jazz and Middle Eastern influences.
March 31 – Rita Satch (Melbourne Australia) – A genre-blending mix of deep soul jazz and cinematic orchestration.

More performances are lined up for April and May. April celebrates jazz’s international influence and May highlights Flamenco Jazz.
